LESBIAN pop duo Tatu have been criticised by children's charities for encouraging fans to wear skimpy school uniforms at their converts.

The Russian teenagers, who fondle each other during their act, are due to play two dates in London and Manchester next month. But it is feared their provocative antics will simply attract paedophiles. A message on the band's official website is offering a free trip to the London concert for girls aged between 14 and 17 who agree to wear sexy Tatu-style uniforms. Youngsters are urged to send their names, addresses and telephone numbers to a Tatu fan club's e-mail address in order to qualify for their free tickets. Lena Katina, 17, and Julia Volkova, 18, have already caused controversy by claiming they have sex with each other three times a day.

Children's charities have expressed concern at their latest stunt, which they fear could encourage paedophiles to attend the concerts in an attempt to prey on the youngsters.
The NSPCC said: "Tatu's producers have reportedly admitted that Tatu are meant to appeal to men in search of under-age entertainment. In the light of this, given that the Tatu uniform is clearly sexually provocative, this publicity stunt targeted at girls as young as 14 is irresponsible.
