Brits snub sexy lesbian duo tour

LESBIAN shock pop girls t.A.T.u are heading for a disaster after ticket sales failed to take off.
The raunchy Russians - whose on-stage kissing and fondling has shocked Britain - have sold less than a third of the tickets for giant gigs planned next month at Wembley and Manchester.

Just t.A.T.u ambitious

TOUR SALE FALLS FLAT

t.A.T.u.'s first visit to Britain next month is heading for next month is heading for disaster - they've shifted less than a third of the tickets for two arena dates.
Heads are ready to roll within the t.A.T.u. camp if gigs at Wembley Arena and Manchester Evening News Arena do not sell out - losing the band a foutune in cash and credibility.

By last Friday Russian pop pair Lena Katina and Julia Volkova, who scored a No.1 with All The Things She Said, had officially only sold 3,500 tickets for their Wembley date on May 2. One source said the figure was nearer 1,000 tickets.

Sales at Manchester on May 4 are better - but not by much.
Things are looking so serious the British promotors were flown to Moscow over the weekend for emergency meeting with manager Ivan Shapovalov. He has now ordered a last minute advertising blitz to turn the situation around.

Last night spokeswoman Aliona Muchinskaya remaind optimistic despite admitting the looming problem. She said: "I am not worried but yes we have sold thirty percent of the tickets. "We are planing a big campaign to sell the rest. We certainly can't pull the show because we paid the full cost to hire Wembley when we booked it two months ago - which was late. They will be fantastic shows and it's the first time t.A.T.u will have played in the UK."

However, other sources close to the band have told Hot that the dates were too hastily organised - and their is fear for their success.

One worried insider said: "It's a nightmare. How can you expect to sell out Wembley in two moinths with no advertising or promotion? t.A.T.u. have only had one hit single. Most bands wait until they've chalked up a few Top 10s and a big album before daring to hire a big arena. Look at S Club and Atomic Kitten who both have arena tours this year. They announced them a year ago. Their management jumped the gun."

In Britain t.A.T.u's sales have been hampered by the under age lesbian controversy which they stoke up their performace.

As the Daily Star revealed on Saturday, t.A.T.u. even offered free tickets to shoolgirls who'd come in sexy uniforms.
