tATu's Flight of Fantasy (MegaStar)

There’s nothing fake about Russian lesbian duo tATu. Except of course the lesbianism.

The pair arrived in the UK for the first time only to discover their tour has been cancelled because of poor ticket sales.

The girls had shifted less than a third of the seats for their gigs, despite, says the Star, “promising to get really raunchy on stage”.

The paper says the pair jetted in “looking tired and far from the glamorous image they portray in their videos” - but will press on with their visit to promote their new single.

Let’s hope tATu had a smoother flight over than The Cheeky Girls, who (says the Star) “sent a passenger plane haywire after the captain invited them into his cockpit”.

Passengers feared the KLM Fokker (honest!) 50 was about to crash after it started flying erratically on its way to London from Rotterdam.

One passenger claims he even saw one of the 20-year-old daughters of Dracula sitting on the pilot’s knee.

Passenger David Dunn said: “I thought we would crash. It was as if they were in charge of the plane’s instruments.”

In other words, while one of the twins was sitting on the pilot’s knee, the other was playing with his joystick.
