Russian

Carry On Tatu ("The Sunday Mirror" - UK)

Time of publication: 05.05.2003
THERE were chaotic scenes during tATu's performance at a recording of Top of the Pops.
Firstly the lesbo pair's aides insisted on standing at the front of the stage unmoving and unsmiling and - unfortunately for the producer - on camera.
As the scantily-clad 16-year-olds in the audience went mad, the floor manager had to shout at the two ugly geezers: "Dance! Bloody dance! You're in shot!"
Then the crew announced they'd have to quickly slot in the Bluetones so they could get off to their gig.
A misunderstanding due to the language barrier meant the Russian duo disappeared backstage thinking they were done.
Cue frantic attempts to get them back on and the floor manager desperately screaming, "Does anyone here speak Russian?"
Finally the girls came back and after a lot of hand signals realised what they were supposed to do. "It was like a Carry On film," said an insider.
