Time of publication: 07.05.2003
Tatu treated fans to a teasing embrace as they gave their only public performance during a UK visit.

About 350 fans watched the pair mime to two songs during an appearance in a London store which ended with a hug and a kiss.

Then the pair asked fans at the HMV store in London's Oxford Circus to appear in a video shoot wearing school uniforms tomorrow morning.

Singer Lena Katina told fans: "Tomorrow we will shoot our video and we want to invite all the girls 16 years and over and who are not at school to wear their school uniform."

The shoot is due to take place on the south side of Westminster Bridge at 9am.

The group have outraged many with their saucy image and their claims to be lesbians.

The group were due to play two concerts in the past few days but both were cancelled, partly due to poor ticket sales - only about 1,000 tickets for each.

Their manager Ivan Shapovalov said: "I am a little sad about it but I understand it because of all the negative publicity.

"I think England wants Tatu, but I think some parts of the audience are afraid. They are afraid because Tatu touch the base of the English way of life."
