Y: Yulia
K: Kim (girl on the phone)
G: Another girl on the phone

J: Ladies and gentlemen, the ladies of tATu are in the studio. How you've been feeling? You've been feeling good?
L: Yeah.
Y: Hi.
J: Yeah, hello. You guys just chilling out…
L: We're just sleeping, because it's really early, early in the morning at Moscow and, uh, we have jetlag, like, crazy jetlag.
Y: (mumbles in Russian)
J: Did you just fly in from Moscow, like, today?
L: Yesterday.
J: How long is that flight?
L: Uh, we're not from Moscow.
J: But how long is that flight? How long is it?
L: Nine hours and forty five minutes.
J: Uh.
L: Yeah, we thought we'd die right there.
J: Oh, how you feeling, you feeling a little sleepy too?
Y: Yeah.
J: You guys are gonna… if we can get this keyboard connected up, you guys are gonna play it and rock out tonight?
Y: Mm-hmm.
J: Gotcha, right on. You guys hear that voice in the back, well that's the translator. This is my favorite thing about the interviews, like the full Russian translator's got a vibe going on… I really missed you guys. Did you guys have fun at the Palace when you went there that night? 'Cause I know, eh, your crew called me up and you guys went to a club in Hollywood called The Palace, did you guys have a good time there that night? Remember that?
Y: We don't remember.
J: You don't remember. You must visit a lot of clubs then, 'cause guys… somebody called me and said, hey Jo Jo, tATu wants to go to the Palace and I was like, alright, then we'll get up and I heard you guys went out there.
L: Uh, maybe I… I was…
J: Maybe you went out there and kinda hung out. Maybe not!
Y: Maybe I was.
J: Alright. Listen, we're gonna plug this keyboard in two seconds, hopefully get it hooked up, alright, in number nine, Kelly Clarkson, "Ms. Independent" on Kiis FM and yes it's true, the ladies of tATu, live on the studio, 102.7 FM, Kiis FM.

(cut to next segment.)

J: Hi you guys, I've been waiting to put on a song which is of course Busta and Mariah, "I know what you want", live on the studio, the ladies of, uh, tATu are in the studio and their Russian translator is in the studio too.
L: (laughs)
J: We have Kim from ******. Hey, Kim, can you hear me?
K: Yeah.
J: Alright. They don't… uh, wouldn't you put your headphones on, I'll translate just what she says to you, what's your question for the ladies of tATu?
K: Um.
J: Speak louder, they're exhausted, and don't be nervous, it's all good.
K: Uhm, (breathes heavily) I, um…
J: You're heavy breathing, man…
K: Um!
J: (Laughs.) She's very nervous of talking.
K: Um, Yulia, happy… er, oh, when are you gonna be here?
J: In concert?
K: Uh-huh.
J: When are you going... coming in like, a concert? What's your next tour date?
L: Okay, we don't know that yet, but, um, the thing is that in the 1st, we're doing MTV Movie Awards, we'll be there to perform.
K: Oh.
L: So, um, you're gonna see us and, for touring, we have no date yet but we think pretty soon. Maybe something like, in autumn, or something like this.
J: You got that, Kim?
K: Yeah, um. I wanted to say to Yulia, happy super late birthday.
J: Oh oh. Happy super super late birthday.
K: Yes.
Y: Thank you.
J: She says thank you. Hold on, Kim, I'll get you guys to chat off there, we'll jump on the track number 8, Busta Rhymes, Mariah Carey, "I know what you want", ladies of tATu in the studio, gonna be a tripping night, cuz they are always, always a trip. No doubt, and a live performance from tATu in a couple of seconds on 102.7 FM, Jo Jo on the radio, (mumble mumble).
L: (laughs)

(cut to next segment.)

Y & L: (fool around in the keyboard)
J: They're gonna perform live in a couple of seconds, so, like, get ready for the tATu performance, get your calls in, (sings so horribly it's inintelligible)
L: (also kicks in, I think she's saying something to Yulia, but I have no idea what she's saying)
J: Skip to number seven, dude, "Hollywood", Madona, on Kiis FM, and once again, live performance from tATu, it's Jo Jo on the radio, on Kiis FM.
L: (sings) Lalalala.
J: (also sings) Lalalala…

(cut to next segment.)

J: Alright, number 6, Frankie J, it's called "Don't wanna try this", dudes, we coming to the studio all the way from San Diego, I should (mumble mumble) all freaking day, ladies of tATu about to, like, perform live on the studio, they won't tell me what they're gonna sing. What, you're gonna tell me like, total surprise? Or, what? Are you gonna tell me?
L: (laugh)
J: Are you gonna tell me? This is, this not happening… Are you gonna tell me? Alright, it'll follow this, coming up, next with tATu.

(cut to next segment.)

J: Boy, heads up for number 5, Fifty Cent, "21 Questions", of course the ladies of tATu in the studio, I have no idea, they're gonna like, play something in this keyboard thing. I have no clue what's about to happen.
L: We have no idea, also.
J: So basically, you've got the keyboard, you just gonna jam around.
L: It's just improvisation.
J: Ok, you crank down the Fifty Cent track for quick's sake, here we go. They'll play whatever they're gonna play, just piddle around, I want to hear what you guys do when you're in the studio and you're on your own.
L: (laughs) We're singing by the way in this CD, we're singers, not keyboard players.
J: But you know, you're playing right now, tho'! Do whatever you want to do, I'll turn you guys loose, so whatever you say, play a little somethin' somethin', you ready? Alright, here we go.
L: Uh.
(Lots of test playing here.)
L: I can't hear anything.
J: Yeah, put your headphones on your head.
L: Oh, ok.
J: You're right. There we go, oh, look at that. Here we go: I'm not sure what's that gonna do, what's gonna happen.
L: (as far as I understand, Lena's telling something to Yulia about a… key? But I could be wrong. -_-)
J: Is this how you guys write songs?
L: No, we're just trying to find the right, the right tone, yeah. Oish. (Frustration? )
(Whoever that was manipulating the tunes, hit one Jo Jo liked.)
L: (laughs some more)
J: (yelling) Oh there, do that again! (says something about a club? O_o) tATu's on the studio, super special, straight…
L: (laughs, once again)
J: So you guys piddle around like in a recording studio, you guys like, have a keyboard, you play around on the ideas for songs and this, you know, whatever?
L: You know, we have already the music, so we need just to sing and lyrics, but sometimes, when we have such, like, I mean, some ideas in our inside, we can play something to find, just for fun, to remember all the classics program we, maybe, like heard back in music's school. (laughs)
J: Are you trying to write something now, like eternally in the process to come up with another song?
L: No, we are just kidding.
J: You're just screwing around. See, they brought the keyboard up just to have a good time, hang around and do whatever. Ask them. Oh there you go.
L: Yeah.
J: Let's go and jump into song number five, Fifty Cent, "21 Questions", we're gonna screw around with the keyboard, it's all at 102.7 FM Kiis FM, (yells) tATu in the studio for a few more seconds, y'all.

(cut to next segment.)

J: It's Jo Jo on the radio, tATu in the studio, you guys always give me like a real strange night, any time you guys come in, and tonight's no, uh, it's no difference. I know you're here just for a second, you gotta come back sometime (Lena LAUGHS) and we'll go out and I'll pay for dinner for you guys, so you'll have some food in Los Angeles.
L: Aw, you'll pay for us! That's so great! (laughs)
J: I know you guys have lots of rock star money.
L: We can pay for you, by the way.
J: Yeah, I know you can, but you give me a chance to treat... you guys have the rock star money and all…
L: No, you won't get such a chance.
J: Really?
L: No.
J: Um, what kind of food do you guys want to eat when we go out? What you want to eat?
L: Um, maybe, McDonald's? (laughs, yet again)
J: Sushi?
L: McD--? Sushi!
J: Sushi. Ok.
L: Not sushi.
J: I'm not really into sushi but I'll take, you guys wanna go, I'll go grab some sushi with you guys. Alright?
L: Alright.
J: By the way, we jump into number 4, and they're gonna jam one more time on their… piano thing, they're gonna be, um, they're gonna be performing at the MTV Movie Awards this weekend, ah, with Fifty Cent and Pink, and yadda yadda yadda. Go ahead, hit that thing, here we go, check on tATu.
L: (once again, laughs)
J: (singing) tATu's in the house, tATu's in the house. (talking) That's cool, yeah.
(For the VERY first time, Yulia and Lena laugh together.)
J: I dig that, dude! Ladies and gentlemen, tATu's in the studio. They're playing around with the keyboard thing. Here comes a different song than before, Not Gonna Get Us, from tATu. And you've gotta tell me one thing, how much does that cost? (sings) tATu's on the studio, (so awful)
L: (joins singing ).o;; )
J: (still singing) But they'll play Not Gonna Get us, it's in number 4…
L: (bursts out laughing)
J: Thank you very much.

(cut to next segment.)

G1: Jo Jo, what the hell is going in there?
J: Dude, that was, that was strange, right? tATu chicks're on a trip, dude: They just belted out, and brought a keyboard and played around and now, there we go… ha, love them, dud'. Ok, number 3, Simple Plan, "Addicted" and a shot to the tATu ladies, "I love you, you rule the planet". That was the weirdest night of my life, dude.

(last segment)

J: Well, that was a strange night there, man.
G2: (laughs)
J: Those tATu chicks are a trip, dude.
G2: Are they in there, is tATu on the studio?
J: They just belted out. They're fine, I like them. They have, you know, real jetlag, 'cause they just flew in from, ah, I think it was Moscow, like a twelve hour flight.
G2: Wow.
J: But I have a funky keyboard story to tell you. The keyboard is still in here, they left it. It's like a ten grand keyboard, just sitting there.
G2: Oh my goodness.
J: I have some weird nights. And it was fun here, I love them, they're nice, sweet chicks, but boy, that was on my top ten interviews I've ever done, as far as weirdness goes, that was about number 3.
