"For people who watch women's tennis strictly to get a peek at Anna Kournikova, boy, have we got an album for you. The lite-synthpop of T.A.T.U. finally answers the question: What if Ace of Base was fronted by two hot, teenage girls who wear skimpy schoolgirl uniforms, sing about lesbian love and constantly make out with each other? Produced by Frankie Goes to Hollywood producer Trevor Horn, the album's processed Eurobeats, cheesy keyboards and vocals make it impossible to tell how much talent the Russian duo actually has. The lyrics are demurely sexual and delivered in a heavy accent, so you usually have no idea what's going on. But the gimmick is the whole point here. Is it good? C'mon, that's like caring about Kournikova winning a Grand Slam tournament."
