Yulia Volkova ran almost undressed to Lena Katina’s boyfriend

Meanwhile her own friend Pasha Sidorov was cuddling with the t.A.T.u.’s young fans in a doorway and kissing bodyguards.

Our interview with an ex-leader of t.A.T.u.’s Moscow fan club Alexandr Bondarev caused a stormy reaction. We remind you that Alexandr confessed of the drinking parties and hooliganism and their hostile relations with Lena Katina and Yulia Volkova that lead to the fall of the Moscow fan club. Some of the persons mentioned by Bondarev in the interview appealed to us with a request to give them a word in order to explain the situation.

- Bondarev set me up in front of Yulia Volkova, complained a leader of the t.A.T.u.’s St. Petersburg fan club Ivan Gorbadey (Galvatron), who I got to know two years ago when we did a report on the t.A.T.u.’s tour in St. Petersburg (EG no.40, 2001).

- As it seems from his story it was me who told everyone that Yulia used to entertain herself in the Champion club at Voykovskaya. The only thing I did is to confirm that I’d been partying there with Yulia and Lena when I came for a visit to Moscow. Besides, I wasn’t the source who told that it was the club where Yulia met Pasha.

- Generally Bondarev’s story gives a wrong impression of the fans – as if they were only drunkards and hooligans. Of course, there are a few extreme fans in our city too. Do you remember when at the gig in Yubileiny some one from the audience threw a knife towards t.A.T.u. At another gig there was a bottle thrown at t.A.T.u. But the majority of fans in St. Petersburg are normal people. We have a good relation with t.A.T.u. When were in St. Petersburg they not only invite the most active fans to their shows but take them to the night clubs after.

- The most memorable visit was to a striptease club Golden Dolls that was organised by their friend Katya Dorosh. A whole show was set there, especially for Yulia and Lena. First, the dancers were dancing on Yulia’s and Lena’s table and then they moved over the girls’ laps. Yulia took it in a rather relaxed manner while Lena was in a complete shock and didn’t know what to do of embarrassment. Finally, the dancers moved over to the t.A.T.u’s bodyguards who enjoyed such a company a lot more.

- Pity that we haven’t had t.A.T.u. in St. Petersburg for a year now. In spite of this fact, the St. Petersburg fan club is living and flourishing. Our post address remained the same: 197110, St. Petersburg, P.O. Box 403 and we launched our own website spbfctaty.4u.ru. As for the Moscow fan club – it’s break-up was waited. No doubt that the band’s producers wanted to have a fan club in Moscow but they were not happy that such people as Bondarev represented it. What kind of fans are they?! Take, for instance, a story with the golden fishes. Lena was given golden fishes by some one and one fish died. Lena got very upset about it and shared her feelings with Bondarev. Bondarev just laughed and told replied “Let me give you a box of dried salted fish instead”. Itwas the right decision to shut down this bunch of freaks.

Volosatik loves Volkova

- Well, I was nearly flattered by the fact that I appeared as one of the good guys in that interview, who didn’t please Yulia only by my persistant confession of love to her, admitted a 16-year old Anton Zhernakov (Dvizhok) – but in reality everything was not quite this way. Yes, I was stalking around her house but my feelings were not that blue. Instead, it was Dima (Volosatik) who was madly in love with Ylia. I preferred Lena Katina. For that sake, together with another fans, I went o the airport to greet t.A.T.u. upon their arrival from New York. We made an enormous placard “t.A.T.u.! We love you!”, gave them loads of flowers but Yulia took her phone and started dialling their driver Edik at once “ Bring the car as quickly as possible”. Without any proper greeting to us, they just left. The same story repeated when we came to see them on their arrival from Stockholm. Yulia threw an offensive phrase towards us. After that everyone quitted such gestures.

- We tried to celebrate Lena’s birthday together with her in a cafй Pushka. It ended up with her having got our fanclub nearly broken. We planned to sepend some 3,000-4,000 and thought to order Bloody Mary. Lena, who was offered to make a choice, just snoffed scornfully “Vodka is a shit” and ordered scotch for everyone. We got to pay 11,000. As you understand, no one arranged anything similar after anymore.

- It was an accident that I showed up at Yulia’s house at Pollesky Lane. At one of the fan club’s meetings I asked one of the club founders Vovochka Nasenkov if he knew where t.A.T.u. lived. He and Volosatik brought me to Yulia for a pint of beer. At a sight of Yulia in the door way Volosatik was hit by a shock and lost his ability to speak. I told her something about our fan club. Yulia relplied that she was very glad to hear that and signed a poster. Then she quickly shut the door saying that we were welcome to come and see her again.

- Using her address and a phone directory service we got her phone number. It turned out that calling to Yulia was a useless business. She answered either pretending to be her mom or a friend, telling that Yulia was either in bed or on a tour. Volosatik and I spent days and nights at her house skipping the school. As a result, I had to graduate without attending lectures.

Pasha-Mercedes

- Yulia got used to us soon, continues Dvizhok. – When she saw us she greeted us. She even took her time to stand chatting to us at her doorway. Sometimes we called for her and sometimes she left the apartment to take a smoke. Yulia likes to get out half-naked: sometimes she wears only underwear and sometimes not even the latter wrapped into a towel. If she is dressed - only in an ultra-short gown. Dressed like this, she can leave the apartment not only for a smoke but to get over to the neighbour doorway to see her friend Misha. I think they went to the same class. We established a good contact with Yulia’s mother Larisa Viktorovna. We didn’t talk to her father much though. He is a sort of businessman and drives an old Volkswagen. He owns another apartment at Novgorodskaya Street but he lives together with Yulia’s mother. May be he rents the first one out.

- As for Yulia’s friend Pasha, he was threatening not because of my stalking. Once, being drunk I complained to my female friends about Yulia’s lack of attention to us – her fans and instead spending all her time with Pasha. “I’m going to smash his Mercedes, break the screens, blow the tires and beat him up”, I was screaming. So, one day, this Pasha came up to us, called me aside, brought me inside a doorway and began to ask if I had been threatening him. “It’s better not to mess with me”, - told me Pasha, “otherwise you may regret it”. I explained that I said it when I was drunk and suggested to be friends. By those words the conflict was resolved.

Vodka for Dvizhok

- Once we decided to celebrate birthday of a fan girl, recalls Anton Zhernakov. The party’s ended up with a nasty orgy and broken stair rails in Yulia’s doorway. Yulia and Larisa Viktorovna came out shouting that we were bustards who turned the doorway into ruins. Yes, it was true – we smashed bottles there and urinated down to the stares from the fifth floor. After we heard all swearing we dislocated to the yard where we broke benches and swing. All in all: we’ve got a full-ranged party. Yulia approached me in the yard and gave me a 40-minutes dress up. It was about me being a bustard that should look up to her brothers instead; those were world champions in soccer and boxing. I didn’t know whom she was speaking about. I never heard of another friends of hers except Lazarev and Topalov from SMASH!!. (As we got to know they are not related to each other. – eg.) She told me that she drank vodka, took joint and even tried some heavier drugs but every time she got very sick and her friends had to carry her back home. So, she preached not to drink: “You are f..ked!”, repeated she all the time. She cursed after every two words. Finally, she called Pasha and asked him to come to beat me up. He showed up in his Mercedes, grabbed my collar and threatened me. I was very much surprised to hear his words “Don’t even give a though of touching my pretty face”. Then Pasha opened his trunk, took a jack and waving in from of my nose with the jack he said: “If I see you here again, I’ll kill you with this jack, put you in my trunk and take you far from here”.

- At this moment a guy approached us from the Volokolamskaya interstate direction. Pasha and he hugged each other and kissed. It was not a friends-like kiss. Pasha explained that this person was his bodyguard. What bodyguard could he have! Yulia told me that Pasha worked for FSB. Judging his age, he could only be a service – boy, someone’s bodyguard.

- As I understood, he was placed to FSB with some help of his father’s contacts. According to the car resistration database, his Mecedes had been previously registered to his father’s name. From that register, it appeared that his surname was Sidorov, he was born 1981 and lived at Radionovskaya Street – not far from Yulia. After having kissed the bodyguard, Pasha softened a bit and instead started telling Yulia to shut up: “Stop bugging Dvizhok!” Before we parted he told me: “You get into trouble, call me!”
