Tatu pretending to be lesbian to support their families
Using "teenage lesbian" as a selling point, Russian group Tatu has been accused for being fake lesbians. Lena and Julia say that they love girls and love boys. Tatu was speaking and acting differently, and it has been exposed that they only pretended to be lesbians in order to stand out and to free themselves of poverty.
According to the UK Sun, 17 year-old Julia and 18 year-old Lena actually have boyfriends. They pretend to be lesbian singers because of money. As the only child of the family, Julia started singing when she was 10, being that she had to take care of her mother who was suffering from diabetes. Lena also comes from a poor family, and had lived away from her parents for a long time.
However, Tatu is hot in Europe for their fast selling album and single. People in the industry pointed out that they have earned 3500 thousands pounds (about HK $44205000). They definitely don't need to worry about money anymore.
