LESBIAN pop stars Tatu are set to to sing for Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest, it was revealed yesterday.

The teenage duo, who topped the charts with All The Things She Said, will perform a song written specially for them.

And their raunchy act is likely to shock fans of the talent show, screened live each year on BBC1.

The pair dressed as schoolgirls for their latest sexy video, which showed them kissing and cuddling in the rain.

Russia is expected to confirm Tatu as its choice today - the deadline for Eurovision entries.

The girls - Julia Volkova and Lena Katina, both 18 - will sing Ne ver', Ne Bojsia, written by Mars Lasar.

They are already Eastern Europe's biggest- selling artists - and even their name is intended to cause controversy.

Coined by a Russian child psychology, it roughly translates as "this girl loves that girl".

The contest will be held in the Latvian capital Riga on May 24.
