Exclusive interview with Sean Hamilton
t.A.T.u duo just love partying and red-hotsex -- but in Lena's case she likes it with BLOKES, I can reveal.
I was introduced to the wacky world of the so-called Russian Lesbian duo at the weekend.
I saw first hand Lena Katina and Julia Volkova's notorous manager Ivan Shapovalov in action -- and the band's mysterious Russian entourage who seem more intent on having fun than doing any work.
They were all shacked up in London's trendy St Martin's Lane Hotel. And Lena was getting close to the tATu's hunky American translator David.
Chatted
On Friday night, everyone hit the town except Lena, who went off to her room with David.
While she was out Julia had invited a fan to meet the pair the following day. And when the girl knocked on the room number she'd been given next morning Lena and the translator David were still in bed together.
Stacey Clairson, 16, from Dorset, confessed: 'I'd been chatting to the security guy. And he told me Lena and the American spent the night together.
'Then, when Julia opened the door to me in the morning the pair were still in bed together. Julia chatted to me in perfect English but said she was too tired to see me.' HOT's (the celebrity news section in Daily Star) own interview the day before was pretty odd.
Their manager Shapovalov was loitering in the hotel lobby, inviting young fans back to his room -- 'for a smoke' and asking people to come with them to nightclubs.
Meanwhile a burly bearded Russian insisted on filming the whole interview. He has accompanied the girls all week-- even at night.
The t.A.T.u kicked off their chat by saying they had no idea that their British tour had been cancelled untill they got on the plane to come to London. Lena explained: 'We were really disappointed. We were ready to do it. Maybe they were afraid.
'But we will be back in July. We still want to do big shows.'
The duo deny that they are overworked and stand by manager Ivan's ludicrous and seedy claim that their new video will feature hundreds of naked underage girls.
Lena said: 'We like it. We don't get tired -- we just enjoy life. We plan to do this untill we die. Believe us. We have no idea how we are perceived here -- but we don't care.'
'The idea for the video is great as usual. Our manager, he is the director of our group and all the videos. It was his idea. We wouldn't come up with ideas. It will be great.'
Then the duo -- who have been accused of being fake lesbians to shock -- whisper to each other in Russian. As if on cue, Julia puts her legs over Lena -- who starts fondling her partner.
When I ask if they have bought their own flat in Moscow Lena explained: 'We're not home in Moscow very often and when we are we like to see our parents. But when we travel we live together -- in every hotel. You can say that.'
Strange then that on Saturday night Julia hit the town but Lena stayed in -- again. Julia and Ivan went down to London club GAY.
Party
After returning to the hotel the pair set out again, to another club called Fabric.
Julia decided at the door not to go in but Ivan partied the night away.
It's odd behaviour from a man who has been hit with a law suit by the UK tour promotors who claim he made their lives impossible.
If he loses the claim it could put the band out of business.
The whole crew are staying in London untill Thursday.
On Wednesday they are shooting what will be their fourth video, for Show Me Love. They have hired loads of models who will pose with them -- although not naked.
It will be interesting to see if the band are still together when the track is released.
