The Russian duo Tatu's first album "t.A.T.u." has broken the 2 million mark in Japan. Tatu are only the fourth Western group to achieve double million sales in Japan, following on from The Beatles, The Carpenters and Mariah Carey, and are the first to have achieved this with their debut album.
To commemorate the breaking of the 2 million mark, Universal Music will release a remix album entitled "t.A.T.u. Remixes" on the 26th September. Tatu are due to come to Japan to play concerts on 1st and 2nd December at the Tokyo Dome.
