The girls from the group Tatu, whom will represent Russia on Eurovision 2003, were the only contestants who refused to give interviews outside of official press-conferences.
But at the same time Tatu said they would answer the questions in written ways.
The press-manager of the contest, Ingrida Schmit, announced that "all contestants are going to be available for interview outside official press conferences, the only requirement is a written request with place and time."
The Russian delegation said later that due to the enormous popularity and interest in the Tatu girls, they refuse to give any interviews.
