Turkey is boycotting the Russian group t.A.T.u. A gig, scheduled on the 14th of June is cancelled. According to the Turkish press, the main reason of the cancellation is a disrespectful approach by the group t.A.T.u. towards the Turkish singer Sertab Erener’s victory in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003. Besides that, the group’s manager has launched a campaign to bash the Turkish people. The contract is cancelled in spite of the fact that the gig had been sold out.
