LONDON (Reuters) - Russian pop duo Tatu have celebrated a fourth week at the top of the British singles chart, the Official UK Charts company said Sunday..
Tatu's Julia Volkova and Lena Katina have courted media controversy over accusations the teenagers are targeting "the dirty old man market" with lesbian kisses and schoolgirl outfits.
The BBC refused to show a raunchy promotional video for the girl's single, "All The Things She Said," showing them kissing and cuddling, but the outrage has done little to dull the duo's popularity.
American singer Justin Timberlake swapped places with BBC "Fame Academy" runner up Sinead Quinn, moving back to No. 2 with "Cry Me A River.
Quinn's debut single "I Can't Break Down" slipped to number three, above Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child who held fourth place with "Stole."
Acoustic duo Tourin Brakes were new in at No. 5 with "Pain Killer."
American rapper Eminem's "Lose Yourself," taken from the soundtrack of his film "8 Mile," moved back up the rankings to sixth from No. 9, its 12th week in the charts.
Also returning to the top ten was "Year 3000" from London boy band Busted, rising to seven from No. 12.
American pop quartet Good Charlotte shot up to No. 8 from 20 with "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous."
Belgian singer Kira, runner-up in the 2000 Miss Belgium beauty contest, was a new entry at No. 9 with "I'll Be Your Angel."
