Tatu are trying quite unsuccessfully to record their new album for several years now. Something seems to get in the way all the time: a conflict with producer Ivan Shapovalov or Yulia’s pregnancy or constant troubles with the voice. Attempts to record the album in Los Angeles where they were offered one of the best recording studios, ended rather unluckily.
Tabloids reported that the girls had a quarrel over who will sing the leading parts. In reality, Lena Katina suffered serious health problems.
- They found stones in Lena’s gall bladder, explained Lena’s grandmother Ludmila Ivanovna. – She had to have a surgery on it. That was the reason why she came back from America and not because she had an argument with Yulia. The newspapers always report God-knows-what. Lena’s surgery was done in the Moscow’s hospital #85. Now she recovered. She is capable to sing again and even to drive a car.

Lena Katina felt ill on her way to Los Angeles. The American doctor, who saw her said that she had gastritis and advised to stay on a diet. She was getting worse with every passing hour. They managed to set the right diagnosis only in her home country.
