MA: Male Anchor
FA: Female Anchor
MA: You've met them before, and now they're a bit more grown up, but they're still the same Tatu. They're all over the place, on TV and radio, and now are launching their new single, All About Us. What matters is that they are with us, here on E! Italy's studio. They're finally back, and they've come to see us. Here is Tatu, Lena and Yulia.
MA: The 11th october your album will be out. You're here in Italy. Is this your first time here?
Lena/Yulia: No, no, it's not our first time. We were here two years ago.
FA: Compared to the first album, this new album, what has changed in your lives and therefore in your new work?
Yulia: First of all, we have grown up. We left our former producer and we're doing all this on our own. We're putting all our emotions and feelings into our record. It's more profound, more psychological. We did it to make people think.
MA: the title just gives a lot to think about, because it's called Dangerous and Moving. Why did you call it that way?
Lena: It's very, very, truly difficult. And very dangerous [here the translator in NOT talking Italian,a word isn't understandable]. All that is around us .People that don't know how to love. All those who don't know how to be moved. They're morally incapacitated/crippled people. is All that is around us is dangerous .With this, we want to make people think, and to change things within them.
MA: "The Dangerous Life", as said by a famous singer.
FA: "una vita spericolata" (a dangerous life)*it's a song by an Italian singer, Vasco Rossi* And maybe it's true the most dangerous thing that can happen to us is not being able to love, something that I don't wish on anybody. Anyway, coming back to us, your first album was released in Russian, and obviously later was translated into English, but were some songs missing? Why was the English version modified? We're waiting fro the translation..
Yulia: We did it intentionally, to make this albums different.
MA: Two albums in one, then. Two in one. This album instead, will be the same all over the world simultaneously, right?
Lena: Yes, the album, like you say, will be released in two records, its Russian version and also a version in…
Yulia: In Moscow, it'll be the Russian album, and in the rest of the world, the international version in English.
FA: So we ‘ll have all the songs of this album. They were at the center of so many gossips. So what do you think about gossip? Are you interested in gossip or not?
Yulia: Very much, yes, we like it.
Lena: Even the bad things. We like criticism.
Yulia: And this gives us energy, the strenght to move on.
MA: We can say that they're the best audience for our E! flash, and then we will be back here with the tatu.
FA: We're back in the studio with the Tatu girls, here in E! News Italy. Now, they had the honour of representing Russia at the Eurofestival last year, which is a very famous festival worldwide. How did you feel about this? Proud?
Yulia: We didn't want to take part of the Eurofestival, because it's not our direction, but our home country asked this of us. We don't want to take part of a competition, we don't need it, we present ourselves as we are, as a group.
MA: It's a good recognition, it means that Russia loves you, holds you dear.
Yulia: Sure, sure.
FA: In the new single you've colaborated with a distinguished singer and man.
MA: We all know that you like him.
FA: it's Sting. How was him? How was working with him?
Yulia: Truly, we didn't meet him.We hope to meet him in the future and thank him personally.
FA: A bit like in the movies, the actors don't meet one another.
MA: We can say that Sting has lost the chance to meet with Tatu. You're young, you can't really know about the U.R.S.S.' period. Is Russian youth like Italian or Spanish youth?
Yulia: In every country the guys are different, we couldn't possibly compare.
FA: Yeah, but when I was 20 I was as you're now. The author wants to provoke. Do you know Paola & Chiara?
Yulia: Yes, we know a few things about them.
MA: Strange, they know Sting but not Paola & Chiara? What a strange thing! Thanks for the interview and for being here. I hope… Good luck with everything and we'll see you later.
