The Russian Duo is more popular then Michael Jackson, Celine Dion and even The Beatles in Japan! It is known now that the management of the group is seriously thinking about new performance ideas. The current plan is with 200-300 school girls in uniforms to accompany Tatu on the stage.

The CD of Moscow girls Julia and Lena "200km/h in the Wrong Lane” together with special and deluxe editions has sold over 1,8 million copies, announced Universal Music company in Japan, which holds the rights for the disk.

Right now Tatu have already beat the record of sales established by American pop-stars like Mariah Carey and Whitney Huston, reports Vesti.Ru.

In Universal Music, everyone is certain that the girls will beat the record of 2 million sales in no time. The fantastic success of the deluxe edition reassured the company about this; the CD included a video disk with Tatu’s music videos and an interview. In less then two days, the 300 thousand copies of the album were sold out across the country.

The Tatu boom in Japan is expected to bring the girls to Japan. Now they are planning to visit Japan on 25-30 of June, continue the shooting of their new music video, participate in TV shows and make a series of advertisements.

Letting the girls have a small holiday, the management is seriously thinking of a new and interesting performance idea for the summer/autumn tours, reports “Zhyzn”. From now on, following the European fashion, the girls will be accompanied by a band, which will enable them to sing “live”.

Ivan Shapovalov is also considering the idea with 200-300 school girls in uniform to accompany Tatu on to the stage, like they did in USA.

"In LA everyone loved our new idea, so we decided to include it into our plan," says Shapovalov. “What is still to decide is whether we will employ the girls in the country where we will perform, or whether we will select them among Russian fans, and “carry” them around.”

Also a reminder, Tatu have recently received an award for “Best Video” on Muz-TV.
