The Muscovite pop duo Tatu arrived in Japan on the 25th to film a video and were welcomed in the lobby of Narita Airport by about 300 high school-age fans calling out "Lena!" and "Yulia!"

When the two girls set foot through the arrivals gate, they were not wearing the uniform-style check miniskirts that have been the focus of so much attention, but were wearing trousers. They held hands and waved to the cameramen in a friendly fashion.

One boy (18) from Tochigi Prefecture, who was wearing a tartan skirt, said that he'd jumped onto the first train that morning. He also said that "When I'm listening to their songs, some kind of feeling naturally wells up in me from the depths of my body." (That was a cooperative correspondence ran on June 25th at 1:21PM)
